This pair of cufflinks were designed by Harald Nielsen for Georg Jensen in the late 1930s. I don't know why I bought this pair other than it was a pair I did not have. Yet since they arrived, I have grown to love them. I wear them often. They are simultaneously industrial yet delicate.

The cufflinks I selected to wear today are Georg Jensen #41 designed by Oscar Gundelach-Pedersen. Again one of my favorite pairs. These are made from 830 silver rather than the modern 925. I like the color of the metal, to my eyes 830 looks duller, maybe due to the lower silver content. This is an early pair, as the silver marks date them between 1915–27. The two halves of the cufflinks are joined by a chain. This design was used on the early Georg Jensen Cufflinks. Personally, I like the chain.

I love these cufflinks by the Swedish designer Sigvard Bernadotte. Maybe it is because I am an engineer. They have a distinctive industrial look, with a screw thread peeping between the half discs at either end. They feel heavy and solid at 18g. I select these to wear for work on days when I am in the mood to get things done. Since buying these they have become one of my most worn pairs.

It is Monday and I picked a different design to wear today. This time the bull. As a Taurian, I have a certain affinity towards this pair of Georg Jensen #70 cufflinks. These cufflinks feel a nice weight, approximately 16 grams. I like the bull. He is solid, muscular, and in motion.
